To everybody reading this, hello! My name is Tamlin and my best friend/other half is Aaron. We are currently in a transitionary period and we feel like we need to reach out for some help so we can get to where we need to be.

We are passionate about creating and we know that this year is the year to create something big, not just for ourselves but for a greater community. We want to create an environment that is a home for us but also an educational hub for people to come and learn about alternatives. Alternative energy, alternative foods, alternative farming and food growing practices- we are constantly learning but we feel strongly that we need to be sharing this information with others who are interested.

To do this, we need land. Preferably with some accommodation attached. Anything bigger than a half acre would be a great starting point for us to really get the ball rolling but heres the hitch- we cant pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for this 'privilege' and we cant exactly go into the bush, draw up a boundary and lay claim either. We need somebody to gift us some land, or sell it to us for a reasonable sum. Most importantly though, we need this to be ours, with no strings or expectations attached.

We have posted a request similar to this around a few different sites, mainly focusing on the Nelson Bay/ Port Stephens area of NSW because we feel pretty strongly that this is where we are supposed to be. Nelson Bay is a new City of Light and we think that what we are doing would be best supported there, in that higher energy.

We have been looking around for opportunities on the internet but we are coming up short, everything either costs an arm and a leg or is an unsuitable environment for us to live in. For us to execute this plan properly, we need somewhere stable that we can live for a few years and that criteria doesnt seem to be able to be met in any rental search.
