1. Listen to Your Teen:
Listen or give time to express themselves. Try to Create and maintain a way for open communication with your teen. And This is often, and sometimes the only, step to many of the problems parents face with their teenagers.
Most of the time, teenage problem like body image problem or self esteem problem or any other problems, can be solved easily if the parents are good listener to their child. So work on keeping that door open.
2. Let Your Teen do what they love:
As long as, what a teen is doing is not dangerous, his or her parents should support or motivate ,or at least not discourage, what their teens feels passionate about. Let them learn something new or improve there skills… This will boost your teens self esteem tips.
3. Setting small achievable goals :
Encourage your teen to break their big goals into small achievable goals and to achieve their small goals. tell to Reward themselves, by Listening to a CD or tape or playing games or any other activities your teen likes. This will give him or her sense of achievement and improve their self esteem.
4. Be a Positive Role model. Watch out what you say or do . As you, as parents, are a major influence on your teen’s behavior and self-esteem. So, it is important to be a good role model or have a good self esteem for yourself too.
5. Encourage to Take care of Themselves:
Motivate your teen to Make it a point to treat themselves well every day.
By encouraging them to dress in clothes that makes them feel good about themselves.Have a nice room for them self by cleaning the rooms , clothes by themselves.so on.That will make them feel good about themselves.
6. Active Participant:
When your teens are active or involved in activities like joining a club, or a team, or an organization, or doing any community service, will boost their self esteem.
7. Positive Body Image:
Work with your teen on his or her body acceptance. Let him or her know that he or she is unique. And don’t compare with others.
8. What do Your Teen do well:
Tell them, How are you proud of your child. and What do they do well.
9. Motivate your teen to Write down their good qualities:

10. Dropping Negative Friends:
Encourage them to be with proactive friends and drop their negative friends if possible. As friends are a big influence in a teens life.
