What are Starseeds?

Starseeds are individuals who feel excitement and longing upon learning that they might have originated from another world. They experience the aloneness and separateness that is the human condition, but also have the sense of being foreigners on this planet. They find the behavior and motives of our society puzzling and illogical. Starseeds are often most reluctant to become involved in the institutions of society, e.g. political, economic, health care, etc. Even at an early age, they tend to discern the hidden agendas of such conventions with unusual clarity."

"Starseeds" describe evolved beings from another planet, star system or galaxy, whose specific missions are to assist Planet Earth and her peoples to bring in the Golden Age at the turn of the millennium.
Starseeds incarnate into the same conditions of helplessness and total amnesia concerning their identity, origins and purpose as do Earth humans. However, the genes of starseeds are encoded with a "wake-up call" designed to "activate" them at a pre-determined moment in life. Awakening can be gentle and gradual, or quite dramatic and abrupt. In either event, memory is restored to varying degrees, allowing starseeds to consciously take up their missions. Their connections to the Higher Self are also strengthened, permitting them to be largely guided by their inner knowing.
Many starseeds are practiced in rapid "spiritual weight loss". Starseeds can throw off in a few years the limiting behavior patterns and fears that Earth humans might take many lifetimes to accomplish. This is because starseeds, having been on similar missions to other planets, are quite familiar with the procedures and techniques for raising consciousness.
The concepts of star ships, intergalactic travel, varied psychic phenomena and sentient life forms in other galaxies, are, of course, natural and logical to them.

Thanks Espen. A lot of the time, I feel like a foreigner within my own family.... I find myself thinking, who are these people .. lol ... maybe thats atypical of all Mom's/grandmoms/caretakers ... however this is different in that there is no doubt I love them dearly...just a feeling ... And certainly right on about not wanting to become envolved with "institutions of society" .. (like that term, where do we put people who are considered in need of mental help but institutions) .... have even, over the years, attempted to make myself belong to some of these groups... the dramas usually proved to be just to much... Anyway with all the things being posted about starseeds ... certainly making me stop and think about these things.... I have always prided myself on being more Scientific .. proving beyond a doubt sort of thing ... however am coming to believe that that could also be a limitation, part of a box I have built... Being all ONE .. then all of this has come into my experiencee for a reason.. not an accident ... ;-) Thanks again, didn't mean to go on, however I have refrained until now.. so its ok LOL ... So interesting.. not a concept I have ever been willing to actually talk about with anyone openly :D (people around me already think me strange enough, thank yu) but have really wondered about privately, esp in the past couple of years more than ever.
Being raised in a peaceful but very rigid Christian 'cult' I was already thoroughly baffled by the age of 5 or 6 as to why the adults in my life would tell me these things about God... I could not wrap my mind around any such God as they and the Bible described, yet at the same time believe He actually loved us... and boy if you stepped out of line, well where was the love then? The OT can really be harsh indoctrination for a child.
But all my life I have had exactly the disposition described above, the strongest one being the extreme confusion. I could NOT understand human beings. I even went and got a degree in Anthropology in college trying to better understand them. I certainly loved them but in no way did I understand them... the violence especially, and the suffering. WHY so much suffering when all should be able to live just fine together on this beautiful planet??? It has always just put me in a state of frustration and bewilderment.
Then, a couple of years ago, I found myself in a position where i was spending a lot of time alone and stuck at home b/c of various circumstances (husb was working away from home, suddenly down to one vehicle etc) so I went into a kind of 'mediation retreat' for many months, meditating and reflecting for many hours a day. I turned into a Raw Food junkie for a while and just 'tuned in' as it were. As a result, of course I was able to fly through those months in a peaceful, usually blissful state, but it also brought new concepts into my conscious awareness that have stayed with me. One of these being a couple of visions I had followed by a few dreams... all of them had to do with two places/things: Sirius (star planet) and Lemuria (ancient land of Mu) altho it came to me by way of the name 'Lemuria Ascended' whatever that means.
Well, I had no history or knowledge really about either of these places, although I had heard plenty about Atlantis, so I started to poke around the internet looking for information. Since then I have read a wealth of information about both from varying sources, but still am not sure why they popped up into my awareness during that time.
I do ask often for 'help from home' as I continue this journey. Even in a room full of people it can feel very lonely when it seems no one 'speaks your language' and most of your inner experiences are simply private adventures with no one to share them with.
So... I guess this whole 'starseed' concept is an interesting one to me and I keep my mind tuned into it for further info or revelation... so nice to find this group ;)

Thank You so much for sharing Your fascinating journey. I can not begin to tell You how many time I have heard similar stories over the years, people who don't fit in with society, their families etc etc. The part about "Lemuria ascended" was a first though, that was very interesting. And the fact that Your mind did not know much about this beforehand makes it more solid in a way. Maybe You come from both Lemuria and Sirius, and You carry information from these places?
It is so much fun to read about other "starseeds" experiences about life, and it's like a puzzle coming together where we collect all the pieces and we end up with a beautiful picture when we have put it all together.
