“Did you say realities? As in more than one?” I asked.

Oh yes to be sure. Reality is numberless and limitless. The only limit to reality is self-imposed.”

I realised that although Seine appeared to be speaking to me, I was hearing him directly in my mind. There was no sound of a voice coming to me, just a direct inner hearing.

“Is this the way you hear me, as words in your head?” I asked him.

“Of course. You receive the words I form, yet you cannot intrude on my thoughts, nor can I intrude on yours. The words have to be formed and projected, and then we can communicate. In this way, we do not violate the
individual rights of another Being.”

“How far can the projected words carry?”
“As far as your reality can encompass,” Seine replied.

Seine laughed. “Even across dimensions,” he reminded me gently.

I felt numb. “I have forgotten so much,” I murmured, “so much of who I am.” My mind raced with a series of questions, but even as I formed them, answers also came. I looked at Seine in the eyes. “Am I doing
this, or are you?”

“I am aware without intruding that you are going through a question-and-answer phase. Most Beings experience this when they break out of the transient, illusory world in to a universe of unlimited reality.”

“Where are you from? How did you know I was coming through the Doors? Who chose you to be my teacher? Who decides on what happens to me now?” I was overflowing with questions.

Seine smiled inscrutably. In some peculiar way, his short dense, golden body fur reflected the light of the millions of stars still swirling past around us.

“I’m from eternity,” Seine replied patiently. “You told me you were coming through the Doors. You chose me as your teacher, and the decisions are yours,” he added.

I frowned with concentration. “But I have no recollection of any of these things. Will I be able to remember?”

“You certainly will. Forgetfulness is a human habit. In fact, if you remembered all of your realities as Beings, you could not exist within the limits you accept as human. Your lost memory of eternity enables you
to pass through the classroom you refer to as life on Earth.”

“Eternity! You say that with so much familiarity, yet I have trouble even trying to comprehend it. How can you come from eternity?”

“Like you and like all humanity, and all the creatures and plants on your Earth, I was not born and I will not die. Is that not eternity, the birthplace and destiny of all life?”
