Enlightenment

Devoted to the ultimate goal of life; Enlightenment, Nirvana, Oneness, No-Mind, Christ Consciousness, etc. To sum up the topic simply: Peace of mind is silence of mind, Zen is not thinking about anything. The letting go of all concepts.

Formless No-Thing, yet Infinitely Everything, yet beyond both because both are mere concepts.
Omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient.

The highest Truth of Reality goes by many names, but all Enlightened teachers throughout history have said it's beyond all such names/words.

A few favorite quotes from the great Ramana Maharshi's "Be As You Are."

"The wrong knowledge is the false identification of the Self with the body and the mind. This false identification must go, and the the Self alone remains."

"If the mind subsides, the whole world sibsides. Mind is the cause of all this. If that subsides, the natural state presents itself."

"The mind turned inwards is the Self; turned outwards, it becomes the ego and all the world."

"You yourself impose limitations on your true nature of infinite being, and then weep that you are but a finite creature. Then you take up this or that spiritual practice to transcend the non-existent limitations."

"When the mind unceasingly investigates its own nature, it transpires that there is no such thing as mind."

"All that is necessary is to get rid of the false notion that we are bound. When we achieve that, there will be no desire or thought of any sort. So long as one desires liberation, so long, you may take it, on is in bondage."

A Course in Miracles, Lesson 46:

God is the Love in which I forgive.

God does not forgive because He has never condemned. And there must be condemnation before forgiveness is necessary. Forgiveness is the great need of this world, but that is because it is a world of illusions. Those who forgive are thus releasing themselves from illusions, while those who withhold forgiveness are binding themselves to them. As you condemn only yourself, so do you forgive only yourself.

Yet although God does not forgive, His Love is nevertheless the basis of forgiveness. Fear condemns and love forgives. Forgiveness thus undoes what fear has produced, returning the mind to the awareness of God. For this reason, forgiveness can truly be called salvation. It is the means by which illusions disappear.

we is an I in reflective prose. creation self replicating in fractals ---- so that creation can witness the pattern of I AM. Creation in this simplistic pattern, is never separate yet can appear so to the lower mind field of resonance. Living light, living vibration IS. there is no before, nor after. "I AM" reduces to the AM of I--- the realization of creation. the OM , the vibration of the initial wave form. :)

Truth is One.

All is One. All is God. All is Self.
God is All. God is One. God is Self.

Re-read these individually until each is understood.
The goal is to realize, live, experience and be this Truth.

There is no "this" and "that." There is no "here" and "there."
There is no "you" and "me." There is no polarity.
There is no individuality. There is no "other."
There are no opposites. There is no duality.

All is One which is Self.

"Feel nothing, know nothing, do nothing, have nothing, give up all to God, and say utterly, "Thy will be done." We only dream this bondage. Wake up and let it go." - Vivekananda

A small excerpt from "Consciousness and the Absolute: The final talks of Sri Nisargadatta...":

Questioner: Why is it that we naturally seem to think of ourselves as separate individuals?

Maharaj: Your thoughts about individuality are really not your own thoughts; they are all collective thoughts. You think that you are the one who has the thoughts; in fact thoughts arise in consciousness. As our spiritual knowledge grows, our identification with an individual body-mind diminishes, and our consciousness expands into universal consciousness. The life force continues to act, but its thoughts and actions are no longer limited to an individual. They become the total manifestation. It is like the action of the wind - the wind doesn't blow for any particular individual, but for the total manifestation.
